05:27 This might be the best version of the Ben E. King classic that you’ll ever hear. It was recorded by artists in a street virtual studio all around the world. The base track – vocals and guitar – was recorded on the streets of Santa Monica by a street musician. In New Orleans Grandpa Elliott – a blind singer from the French Quarter – added vocals and harmonica and another artist added in metal percussion. The producers took the resulting mix all through Europe, Africa, and South America, adding new tracks with multiple instruments and vocals that were assembled into this final version.
